What a Queensland move costs
We charge local work by the half hour. The 4.5 tonne truck, which holds 20-25 cubic metres, starts from $80 plus GST, and the 10 tonne, which holds 50-60 cubic metres, starts from $90 plus GST.
The crew can see the whole move through, packing included, or stop at the stages you book. A long run inside the state, or a move across a border, is quoted as a complete job.
What the two addresses actually mean
Queensland is a long state: New South Wales on the southern border, the Pacific and Coral Sea on the east, and mountain ranges then dry country as you head inland. For us that spread is driving time between two street addresses.
From our Brisbane base the Gold Coast is about 80 kilometres down the M1, the Sunshine Coast about 100 kilometres up the Bruce Highway, and Townsville roughly 1,350 kilometres further north. We also need to know where the truck can stand, how far we carry, and whether stairs sit between the door and the road.
Moving in or out of Queensland
A move into Queensland from another state, a move out, and a move between two Queensland towns are three different jobs. We charge local work on the half-hour rates. We quote interstate work, and long runs such as Brisbane to Mackay, per job.
Brisbane sits on the river with hilly ground around it. The Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast run along the water, the Bruce Highway keeps going toward Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Mackay and Townsville, and inland the Warrego Highway climbs toward Toowoomba. Storage can hold the load if one set of keys is ready before the other.
The two addresses and dates get us started
The collection address, the delivery address and the two dates are enough for us to start. Include what is going and any packing or storage you want, then contact us or call 1300 303 333. We will plan the truck and the quote from that.
What we can take on
Packing and Unpacking
If packing is on the booking, we arrive with everything the packing needs. We can do every room or only the ones you leave to a crew, then unpack at the other end if that is included.
Piano Removals
A piano can be the whole job or one line on the furniture list. Either way we plan its lift from the access you describe.
Furniture Removals
Furniture can travel as the entire load or alongside the rest of a household. Anything too big for a doorway gets dismantled before the trip and rebuilt at the far end.
Removals Storage Solutions
We can hold goods when you leave one address before the next is ready. The quote can cover the removal and the storage together once we know what needs to wait.
Interstate Removals
A move out of Queensland into another state is quoted as one job, not on the local half-hour rate, and storage joins that quote whenever the dates call for it.

For a move within one Queensland city or between nearby suburbs, we match the truck to the load. You can book the lifting and the drive, then add packing or unpacking if you want them.

Questions about a Queensland move
What if the stairs or the street access are awkward?
Stairs, a long carry from the street, or a doorway the furniture will not pass all add time. We need those details for both addresses so we can allow for them.
Can you help with the packing?
Yes. You can pack everything yourself, hand us the awkward pieces, or have us pack the lot. Unpacking at the new address can sit on the same booking.
Can I add transit insurance?
Yes. You can add cover for the time your goods are on the truck, and we will spell out what that means with the quote.
How far ahead should I book?
The more notice we have, the easier it is to lock in the truck and crew. If your dates are already close, we also handle last-minute removals. We still need both addresses and what is going.
What do you need for a quote?
Both addresses, the two dates, what is going, and any tight access. If you want packing, unpacking or storage included, say that as well.
Will you take furniture apart?
Yes. We can disassemble furniture before transport and assemble it at the new address. Mention those pieces when you arrange the job.
