The drive and the work around it
Brisbane to Rockhampton is about 630 km up the Bruce Highway, roughly 7-8 hours of driving. The drive alone takes most of a day, and the loading and carrying at each home sit around it, so we talk through collection and delivery times with you before you make plans around our arrival.
You might leave the cartons to us, or have everything packed before we arrive. We protect your furniture for the journey, carry it onto the truck in Brisbane and bring it inside at Rockhampton. We can also help you unpack there.
A whole truck or room on a northbound load
Our 4.5 tonne truck gives us 20-25 cubic metres of space; the 10 tonne holds 50-60 cubic metres. We choose between them and quote per job using your furniture list, access notes and the help you want.
Rockhampton lies on the Bruce Highway, roughly halfway along the journey between Brisbane and our destinations further north, Mackay and Townsville. That gives us a reason to check backloading. If we have room on a truck continuing north, we may be able to carry your furniture as far as Rocky alongside another load. We check the space and whether your dates fit before offering that option.
Getting your furniture through the door in Rocky
Rockhampton sits on the Fitzroy River in Central Queensland, and most people we move there already call it Rocky. For us, the delivery starts with a conversation about your new address and the way into it.
We want to know where we can stand the truck, how far we will carry your furniture and whether there are stairs on the way in. We can talk through what to check before we leave Brisbane.

We use blankets and shrink wrap to protect furniture, and boxes and tape for your packing. We can help you unpack after the journey too.

You do not have to make your Brisbane departure match the day you get the Rockhampton keys. We offer storage and can work that gap into the move when you tell us your dates.
Office Removalists
We will go through the office furniture and equipment you want to send north. An after-hours option is there for office work when a daytime move would get in the way of the business.

We offer piano removals, so let us know if your instrument will come with you to Rocky. We will ask about its path out of Brisbane and into the new home before we price that part of the work.

We will ask where the truck can stop and how far we will need to carry everything. We also need to hear about steps or stairs along that route so we can include the work.
